..the idea of this long trip came up about two years ago, after reading some inspiring books and due to my irrepressible passion for travelling. It’s like having a fire inside, it’s a recall towards the discovery and knowledge of new countries and cultures aside ours. I have travelled on several continents in these thirty-six years but the thought of a bigger trip around the world made me shiver. Perhaps because of its almost perfect essence or because it always seemed impossible to realise.
A Trip into the World.
At that time I got lucky enough to meet a person who shared my immense passion for travelling. Over time, we began to shape this idea and made us brave together. Once we decided to embark on the journey, we rented out our place and stored all our things away. We overcame fear, we stopped caring about opinions and decided that it was no longer time to delay, it was time to leave. I always thought that a trip begins a few months before the departure. To me planning, discovery, experience, surprise, mystery and knowledge, are just some of the elements and emotions that form part of a trip and it’s always worth living them at least once in your lifetime.
